Dakota Lofts - Downtown Salt Lake City Utah
Dakota Lofts was built in 1923 and was originally home to a plumbing and heating manufacturer. Local architects converted the building to condos in 1998. It is now one of the few true loft style condo developments that can be found in downtown Salt Lake City. The units feature exposed concrete pillars, ductwork and brickwork, floor to ceiling windows and balconies. The building is located on the west side of town and provides walking access to downtown shopping centers / restaurants, Gallivan Center concerts, Energy Solutions Arena (originally the Delta Center) and Farmers Market.
In addition to the residential units, the ground floor provides a number of retail units that have both an external entrance from the street and internal entrance from the building.
